Pictures from Winter 2012

These pictures include a picture of Nathan and Zeke that he took to school on pet day.  Several pictures from Valentine's Day where I was trying to get one of them together - so hard!  And Nathan's field trip to the Children's Museum.

Mardi Gras 2012

We had a GREAT time in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.  The boys had so much fun!  Nathan loved catching beads and watching the parades and Andrew loved eating all of the yummy sweets and snacks.  He thought the parades were okay too!

Winter Trip to Granger & The Start of 2012

Of course, many of the pictures and videos that we took while in Granger - were lost.  That will teach me to leave things on the camera so long.  Anyways, these pictures of the boys in the snow were taken while we were there and they were the only pictures to survive.  These pictures were taken on Jan. 2nd near the end of our trip (it never wants to snow while we are there, LOL)  so at least we were able to start the new year off with some snow!

Christmas 2011

Again, lost more pictures.  Which was probably a good thing.  Everyone was sick leading up to Christmas and then Brad got sick on Christmas Eve.  It was not fun!  Here are pictures of the boys decorating the tree, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  And so I won't forget - the reason Andrew's face is skinned up is because when we visited B'ham  a couple of days before, he fell on the tennis courts and skinned it all up!  Poor Guy!

Andrew's 2nd Birthday!

Again, lost some pictures.  Andrew had a great "mini" party with Grandmama on his birthday.  We had already begun celebrating it when we went to Disney.  That day we went to the "bouncy" place too and had a great time.  The picture where he is using a fork is so funny to me when I think of what he did to his cake just the year before!

Disney 2011

Again many of our pictures and all videos were lost. But on the bright side at least we still had some pictures. Here are the boys at our hotel at the front, Andrew hanging on the chains (he did that A LOT!), on Andrew's first ride (Dumbo), on the a couple of rides, trying to pull the sword from the stone, meeting Mickey (Nathan loved meeting all the characters) and doing their football moves on the field at our hotel. We can't wait until we can go back!

Halloween 2011

Unfortunately, these are the only two pictures from Halloween this year.  The SD card in our camera went bad - so we lost a lot of pictures and videos.  We did have a Great Halloween.  The bottom picture is from after Nathan's fall festival at school.  They had a program and games where they won prizes hence the glasses they are wearing.  The top picture is from Trunk or Treat at St. Theresa's.  Grandmama went with us and we met up with Quentin.  It was a lot of fun.  Then we had a great time trick or treating with our friends on Halloween in our neighborhood.  Andrew did not want to dress up that night, of course.  But I convinced him to at least put on an Auburn jersey and he was a football player. Nathan was still a pirate.

Nathan's birthday spanned many many days. It started when Nana and Gramps came to visit and brought his bike. Then Grandmama visited and we had a mini party on his birthday. Then his big birthday celebration was when we went to Disney. I think Nathan had a GREAT 4th Birthday!

It has been 7 months - really??!!!

I about passed out when I looked on the blog today and realized that I had not posted in almost 7 months!!!  Where did that time go?  I know, "time flies when you are having fun" and it really is true this time.  We have been having a ton of fun since the last time I posted.  I want to go back and share all the things we did and all the fun we had - but seriously, that is too overwhelming.  So I will hit some of the highlights:

Starting with Summer:
We went to the beach to stay with dad Memorial Day weekend.  The beach is always so much fun!

Brad and I both celebrated a birthday - Andrew really liked the cake!!!!

During the summer, we went to the library a bunch, the aquarium, the yellow river game ranch.  Here are some pictures from those . . .

yes, I took my child to a foam party!!!  Andrew loved it, Nathan not so much!

We made a trip to Indiana, hence the jackets.  But the weather was great - it felt like spring and such a nice break from the 100's we were having in Georgia.

On our way home from Nanny and Gramps, we stopped at the Indianapolis Childrens' Museum.  It was AWESOME!

They had a Dora and Diego exhibit - they both loved it.

We were able to visit the Maluffs at their new lake house on Lake Martin.  So much fun!

Nathan started swimming school.  Loved it and still does.
During the summer we also spent a TON of time at the pool.  Both boys love the water so much.
In August, Nathan started school.  He goes MWF half day and he LOVES it!

In September, Nathan was in the Villa Rica Gold Rush parade with his school but unfortunately this is the only picture I got of it.  (better than the video I took)
He also started playing fall soccer.  This season was totally different - he loved it and as he would say, he played very aggressive!  One game, he made 7 goals!
More Yellow River Game Ranch, this time Nanny and Gramps were with us - but of course I didn't get any pictures with them!  Terrible!

Ok - my picture taking has gone so far down hill.  I blame the playsport because I take a ton of video now.  I need to do better!  Especially because in October, the DeAngelos minus Nick came to visit for a week and below are the only pictures I have.  What?????  I hope Elizabeth has some she can share!
Jack and Nathan above at the zoo and below are Jack and Andrew
Confusing because Jack and Andrew have the same shirt!
Andrew would say, "Go Irish"
Here is a group picture with some friends at a Halloween party.  I can not believe they all stayed for the picture.
So as you can see we have been busy, busy!!!!!  Loving every second.  The pictures from Halloween until now are still on the camera - hopefully I will get them off sooner than later!  But for now that is a quick look at some things we have been doing!
