Ear Infection
Nathan is getting to be too smart. He woke up yesterday morning and instead of his usual greeting "chocolate milk please" - he said "ear hurt". He had a runny nose for a couple of days but no big deal - so I kept asking him - does your ear hurt, I was pushing on it - he never said another thing about it. I was going to ignore it - the bad mother that I am and then my friend, Elizabeth encouraged me to take him (probably b/c she had been wiping his nose all morning while I was at the doctor). So I took him to the doctor that afternoon (luckily they could fit us in) but then I felt so silly telling the doctor - well, he has a runny nose for a couple of days and he said his ear hurt once. Then she checked and sure enough Nathan had an ear infection! I am so glad that I took him! And I am so glad that he is smart enough to tell me because he did not have a fever and I would have never dreamed his ear hurt.
Nathan's 2 year appointment
Nathan had his 2 year check-up on November 2nd.
He weighed 25.2 lbs. (approx. 15th percentile)
His length 33 1/4 in. (approx. 20th percentile)
His head circumference 19 1/4 in. (approx. 55th percentile)
He got his chicken pox vaccine and the doctor gave him an A+ on everything.
Nathan does not have another check-up until 3! Yeah!
Halloween
Unfortunately, it was raining off and on so Nathan did not get to go too long. He was really just getting the hang of it when they had to come back home. He trick or treated our house - it was so cute - he said trick or treat, clapped for himself and then took a piece of candy from our bucket. It was a big two days!

We forgot the camera - sorry no pictures.
